* New DPI & F Protocols for Performance and Pleasure Events *

During the recent Workshop held at the Maryborough Park International Equine Centre, the Executive Members of the Pony Club, understand that there are now new Protocols for holding Events, which include our monthly Rally Days. The protocols will be in place for future Maryborough Pony Club Events.

DPI Performance and Pleasure Events Protocols

We strongly support these protocols to assist in protecting our Members and their horses from any further outbreaks of EQUINE INFLUENZA. We understand that these protocols may seem a barrier to the enjoyment of pony club, but in the long run it will help us all.

A significant change that you will be required to do

1: Fill out a Waybill (2 Copies) when you float or ride (in a group) your horses to Pony Club. You will be required to submit one othe copies to the Pony Club prior to bringing your horses on the grounds

Pony Club are still investigating how they will implment Bio Security Measures (Hand Washing Stations), and nominations prior to attending Pony Club Events. We will keep you posted as to the outcomes of these procedures.
